Description: 

A very rare 1981 Greco BG 800 "Boogie" - not to be confused with the latter reissues. In the golden era of the Japan vintage years it seems greco wasn't only making incredible copies of all the American classics they were also coming up with a few unique ones on their own. The Boogie seems to pull inspiration from a few different places and features an all mahogany construction, strat-ish body style, a reverse headstock in the style of a Firebird and with a unique pickup setup. This is a very well preserved one in a beautifully vibrant blue, darker than a lake placid blue and with a bit of a turquoise hue. Matching headstock, full painted neck. There is a small ventures sticker on the guard that we left on as it adds to the flair. Condition is very clean; headstock shows only a few light marks otherwise excellent, back of neck has a few light dings behind the fitfh fret otherwise excellent. Body shows light dings and surface playwear but no major dings/dents chips or deep scratches. Overall a very well preserved, hard to find vintage Greco.

Includes original hard case. Has been fully inspected and setup here by our team at Coast Sonic and is ready for a new home.
